The Danang International Fireworks Festival 2023, directed by the city's People's Committee, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, and implemented by the Sun Group Corporation.
With the theme "Light Up the Borderless World" or "World without Distance," DIFF 2023 will take place from June 2 to July 8, 2023, including the fireworks competition and accompanying activities.
The fireworks will be launched from the Han River Port area. The main stand and stage will be set up on the sidewalk of Tran Hung Dao Street, across from the platform used in previous DIFF festivals.
The fireworks competition will consist of 7 international teams and the Vietnamese team, performing over 5 nights. Each team will perform for approximately 20-22 minutes (not less than 20 minutes and not more than 22 minutes).
1. Schedule in details
Night 1 (June 2nd)
The performance part of the Vietnam - Finland teams with the theme "Peace for The World".
Night 2 (June 10th)
On the night of June 10th, two teams from Canada and France will perform with the theme "Love without distance".
Night 3 (June 17th)
Two teams from Australia and Italy will perform with the theme "Chasing Your Dreams".
Night 4 (Jun 24th)
Two teams from Poland and England perform with the theme of 'Embracing Nature'.
The Final Night (July 8th)
Takes place on July 8th with the theme 'The Borderless World'
2. The prize structure of the competition:
The winning team will receive a prize worth $10,000, a trophy and a certificate;
The runner-up team will receive a prize worth $5,000, a trophy and a certificate.
3. The criteria for assessing performances include: Ideas, diversity and theme of the performance; Richness and diversity of colors; Uniqueness and quality of the performance; Scale and number of effects; Synchrony and harmony between sound (background music) and fireworks images; Adherence to the theme and demonstrating the significance of the DIFF 2023.
4. Accompanying activities and auxiliary events:
Accompanying activities and auxiliary events are expected to be organized along the two sides of the Han River and along main streets. According to the plan, these activities will have a large scale, diverse content, attractiveness and high interaction with the festival.
Regarding promotion and publicity for DIFF 2023, the focus of promotion will be on the activities at DIFF 2023, especially the image of Da Nang city to domestic and foreign tourists. In addition to promoting through visual media, emphasis will also be placed on online channels such as social media, television, and major travel magazines in potential tourist markets. At the same time, the DIFF 2023 website will be upgraded and updated.
Meanwhile, the organizing committee will create a separate promotional clip for DIFF 2023 to be broadcasted on television before each live show, as well as promoting on other media channels. In addition, a mobile press center will be established to serve media agencies and journalists working at DIFF 2023
